What is an escape game?
An escape game is generally a 60-minute experience where a team completes a series of puzzles and challenges, through one or more themed physical spaces, to reach an end goal that varies by scenario. A few examples of experiences might be plundering an ancient tomb, carrying out a bank heist, or preventing a nuclear launch! Our adventures provide maximum immersion to make you feel like you are really there!
Are escape games scary?
A common misconception about escape games is that all are horror-themed – in fact, most escape games are not scary. Unless an experience is specifically horror-themed or highlights horror elements in its description, you can expect an adventure without scares.
What if we get stuck / need help during the game?
All of our games are closely monitored by a dedicated game master. We will ask your majority group preference in receiving hints before you start your experience. If we see you are getting stuck or need our help, we will provide you with a hint in your preferred fashion!
Who can play escape games?
Anyone can participate in escape games. Escape games require no outside knowledge or skills to be able to enjoy – although, an intermediate understanding of English may be necessary to complete some puzzles. See our “is there an age limit” FAQ below for age and waiver information.
Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit – but children under 10 may find certain game aspects difficult to grasp. For children under 14, an adult must be present in the experience. For children 15 – 18 , an adult must be present before the game begins to sign waivers, but does not need to participate in the experience. If 15 – 18 and coming without a parent / guardian, a waiver must be obtained here
, filled out, signed, and turned into us before the game is allowed to start.
Will I have to play with other people?
No. Escapism has made the decision to have completely private bookings, always. You will never play with strangers.
What do I need to bring / dress code?
The only thing you need to bring is yourself. No outside skills or knowledge, other than an intermediate understanding of English, are required to be able to enjoy or successfully complete an escape game. There is no dress code. Dress comfortably!
Can I bring food / drink into my experience?
We ask that no food or drink is taken with you into your game. Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed on site. You may play our games after consuming alcohol offsite, but we reserve the right to remove any players who are exceptionally intoxicated or we deem a threat to themselves, our employees, or our property.
Can I take photos or video?
Taking pictures and video during your experience is prohibited. We are happy to take your picture inside one of our rooms after your game is over, but media captured inside the room may spoil the game for future players. Please help keep our games mysterious and immersive for everyone!
Is the room actually locked?
No, the room is not actually locked! This would be against fire code, and your safety is our top priority. You can leave the room at any time you need – be it for a bathroom break or any other reason. Just bear in mind that the game does not pause when leaving the room.
Can i leave the room during a game?
Yes, you may leave the room during an in-progress game for any reason. Bear in mind that your game timer will not pause and that leaving the room may ruin your sense of immersion.
How much does it cost?
The regular price of a ticket is $29.99.
Children 4 and under can come along with you free of charge, but still count towards the room’s total capacity. Please call us before booking your game so that we can add their spot to your reservation due to the maximum capacity of our games.
Are there any discounts?
Yes! We offer corporate packages (please call us at (435) 315-3460 to inquire). We also occasionally send out exclusive discounts to our email list as well as posting promotions to our social media. Be sure to join our email list at the bottom of this page and like / follow us on Instagram and Facebook!
Are gift certificates available?
Yes! Gift certificates are available for purchase in-store or online here
. Gift certificates do not expire and we will always honor the value of the gift certificate purchased.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive five minutes before your booked appointment. All team members should be in the lobby at your booked time.
What happens if I show up late?
As a courtesy to other players, the timer for your experience begins at the time of your reservation, regardless of your time of arrival. You may still play if you arrive late, but it’s possible that you may have late time deducted from your game.
While we strive to provide you with the best and fullest experience, allowing late time to bleed into the next time slot would detract from the experience of other customers. That said, we may, in our discretion, allow you to continue into the next time slot provided it is not reserved and we do not have any walk-ins for the experience.
Please also keep in mind that your whole team should arrive on time to ensure that you receive your full experience. No refunds will be issued due to late arrival.
What is your cancellation / reschedule policy?
We are happy to provide a full refund or assist in rescheduling your group if you contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your reservation. Less than 48 hours in advance, we can reschedule you to a different time or provide you with credit for a future game, but no cash refund option is available. If cancelling within 4 hours of your appointment, no refund, reschedule, or credit will be issued as short notice appointment modifications do not allow sufficient time to re-fill the slot.
What is your no-show policy?
Tickets are non-refundable for no-shows, nor will credit or rescheduling be provided. If you have booked an experience and arrive with fewer players than you have booked for, no refunds will be issued for missing players. Tickets are only fully refundable outside of 48 hours of the time of your appointment, and are only able to be rescheduled or provided with credit with ample notification within the 48 hour period. Can I bring another person after I have already booked?
Yes, you may bring additional players with you if these players will not push the room player capacity beyond its maximum limit (generally 8 players). Payment and liability waivers will be processed for these players before the game starts. Please see our “is there an age limit” FAQ above for liability waiver policies by age, as any additional players you bring will have to abide by them.
